Fleur engraving metal print by Laura Lee Cundiff. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This girl is celebrating spring with a big bouquet. The original piece is a 2 x 3" wood engraving - a form of woodcut - created by carving an image into the surface of a hard maple block, then printing the ink image onto fine paper using a press.
About Laura Lee Cundiff
Hello! I primarily work in oils, painting dancers, musicians, land and waterscapes. I am also an illustrator and designer. I've always drawn and painted, and after graduating from Pratt Institute, I freelanced illustration in NYC for several years. I exhibit work regionally and have sold work to many private and public collectors. I illustrate fine letterpress books for Larkspur Press of Monterey, KY and others with wood engravings or line drawings, and paint as often as I can.
